My practice started since high school. I worked after classes as apprentice in biological laboratory of Severtsov's institute, handling osteology collection and specimen preparation. After graduating, i joined taxidermy studio team in the State Darwin museum in Moscow.
In the museum I had opportunity to learn taxidermy art, as well as restoration methods. Monthly exhibition projects and daily tasks had taught valuable lessons about material, time and importance of pre-work research.During that time, I visited a bird taxidermy workshop in Saint-Petersburg in the year 2019, and the European taxidermy championship in Budapest in 2021.Right now I'am freelancer taxidermist, and currently preparing to make a residence for my studio in Europe.My two big principles in taxidermy: unyielding presence of art and knowledge of species behavior and habitat.
Whenever I make a novelty taxidermy or memorable trophy, these two basics make a truly wonderful image that can be carried through generations to be.

Taxidermy maintenance

Taxidermy piece that is made with stable materials is expected to live and bring joy up to 100 years, if treated properly.To ensure long life of the piece, please keep it away from:
— Direct sunlight;
— High humidity;
— Open spaces, such as patio or rooftop;
— Fireplaces;
— Pet playgrounds.It is recommended to remove the dust with feather duster and use insect spray once a year. There are some specialized brands for taxidermy pieces.

This terms are for the 2026 year. Please, read them carefully before order. Rules are simple, but necessary.• The price of the work is not negotiable. Prices are aligned with prices in western european sector of taxidermy, all materials and workhours included. It is also a cost of quality.• Price can be reduced by me, when specimen had visible hair\feather loss, and quality of the taxidermy mount is affected. I write about this discount in the description.• When making a commission, please discuss all the important details with me. Photo references are most preferable to work with.• For flying birds added cost is 15€ due to extra work on wings.• Rush work is +100% to the cost.• Shipping is calculated separately from cost of the taxidermy piece. Usually it takes in the range of 20-50€, depending on weight and destination.• Please, check import restrictions and necessary paperwork of your country before buying taxidermy piece.• I can do gift wrapping for a small fee of 3€. It's also possible to send package by EMS Post.
